Prince Harry Shows Nervousness, Emotional Strain at New York Summit

Body language expert notes prince Harry’s behavior hints at inner conflict during discussion on youth mental health

Prince Harry sparked concerns at a mental health summit in New York, where his behavior revealed signs of anxiety and emotional strain, according to body language expert Judi James.

The Duke of Sussex, while addressing the global youth mental health crisis, appeared unsettled, fidgeting and adjusting his clothing throughout the event.

James observed that Harry’s demeanor was notably different from previous appearances, describing his expression as “unsmiling” and his face “reddened,” possibly reflecting the emotional weight of the subject matter, which includes mental health and his late mother, Princess Diana.

His body language was marked by nervous gestures, such as fidgeting, cracking his knuckles, and rubbing his thumbs together, which the expert interpreted as self-comforting behaviors.
